As luck would have it, the mayor of Summer Beach is Ivy's old teenage crush. The former owners were also avid art collectors from Europe, and the old beach house harbors long-forgotten secrets. While Ivy and Shelly managed to make it through their first busy summer as innkeepers, the quiet winter season presents a new set of challenges. In Seabreeze Christmas, family, guests, and residents come together in a heartwarming holiday story that will be long cherished.
Seabreeze Christmas – Backstory
Since I wrote Seabreeze Christmas during the pandemic (at an outdoor table by a friend's pool in L.A–complete with Christmas music and hot chocolate in a reindeer mug), I wanted to make it extra heartfelt. Many of the activities and experiences included are ones I've had the good fortune of having in Southern California over the years. This year, more than ever, I'm thankful for so many good memories.
We'll have a small holiday season this year, but that's the thing about books–with a good book in hand, you're never really alone. Together, we're muddling through this once-in-hundred-year pandemic (how we hope it is!). Yes, we're in this together, writing and reading, supporting each other through it all. This year, I'm so grateful to have come to know more of you online, and I'll keep writing for you because I know how important it is to have books you can call friends.
